With Labor Day just around the corner, I know what you are all thinking.
Bye-bye white jeans...  Well, I am here to tell you that you can keep those white jeans in the front of your closet.
They are not going anywhere.  For years, the fashion industry has been telling us what we can
and cannot wear when and where, and we think all of these rules are simply ridiculous.

Classic, timeless pieces never go out of style, but even with that said,
many trends can be re-styled in a timeless way that works year-round!
Let us show you how we debunked some of fashion's greatest myths. Myth #1: No white after Labor Day.
This outdated tradition started because white used to be a symbol of leisure.

When people came back from their summer vacations and went back to work in the city,
they traded their light colored garments for darker colors which meant they were ready to work.
This soon became the unwritten social rule for decades to follow.

Go ahead and rock those white jeans any time of year you'd like.

Myth #2: You can't mix patterns. This one is easy.  Just look around the red carpet or
just about any fashion magazine out there, and you will see stylists mixing patterns and textures.

As long as you keep one print bigger and the other print smaller and more subtle, mixing and sophisticated.

Myth #3: The age old rule that you can't wear navy and black can be set to rest for good.

Myth #4: Horizontal stripes are unflattering. Horizontal stripes actually flatter most body types,
it just depends on the fit of the garment.  If you are slimmer, opt for a skinnier stripe,
and if you are curvier, opt for a thicker stripe.  Can't get any easier than that!

Anyone can dress like a French girl for a day!

Myth #5: Don't Mix Metals As jewelry enthusiasts,
we never really understood this rule or why anyone ever followed it.
We love the contrast of colors against our skin!
Who can say no to another layer of jewels anyways?

These rules were made to be broken!
